In the dynamic realm of global business, adept leadership stands as one of the key factors to success. Understanding the importance of seasoned leaders, DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics Asia Pacific (ASL APAC) rolled out Asia Pacific Management Trainee program in 2017. The initiative aims to nurture young talent into future architects of the company – individuals are poised to steer DACHSER towards fresh horizons and sustainable growth.

In its sixth year, the DACHSER Asia Pacific Management Trainee program has proven to be a valuable pipeline to hone future leaders. Rooted in DACHSER's six values of entrepreneurship and the courage to innovate, inclusive responsibility, sustainability, loyalty and commitment, integrity and honesty, as well as openness and respect, the program is designed to empower young talent with the skills, knowledge, and experiences needed to excel in the logistics industry.
Well-structured program building excellence
The initiative offers a structured curriculum that combines training, hands-on experience, and exposure to various departments within the Asia Pacific organization. This ensures trainees acquire a well-rounded understanding of air and sea logistics operations, business development, supply chain management, tender management and more.

Delays when it comes to border crossing would be a major challenge in the case of a hard Brexit - the other would be the new bureaucratic burden of goods traffic with Great Britain. First and foremost, longer waiting times through border controls and customs clearance of all goods should be expected under WTO rules. Logistics in the time of the coronavirus: supply chains under stress
Worldwide flows of goods have taken a massive hit from the coronavirus in a way never seen before. The full repercussions are not yet foreseeable, but for Dachser, one thing is already certain: when plans can no longer be made, there is particular value in robust logistics networks.
As is known, early general elections for the House of Commons are scheduled for December 12, 2019 in the UK. The EU has also agreed to extend the Brexit deadline to January 31, 2020. The danger of a no deal Brexit is thus averted for the time being. If an agreement on the negotiated contract is reached before January 31, 2020, the agreed transitional period will initially remain in force until December 31, 2020.
Regardless of whether it is a "soft" or a "hard" Brexit, a customs authority of the respective recipient is essential for the processing of shipments to and from the UK. Therefore, we ask our customers to continue to advise their recipients to provide us with the necessary customs authority.
