Nobody can predict the future—not politicians, not scientists, and not economists. However, that doesn’t mean we can give up the constant task of classifying current developments, tracking trends, and drawing the appropriate conclusions for tomorrow. This requires us to look closely, ask questions—and, most importantly, listen. That might sound obvious, but it can be a real challenge in day-to-day business.

The global pandemic has taught us many things—but above all, perhaps, that the best way to help customers in difficult times is to really listen to their concerns and then offer the right solution. Our collaboration with Le Creuset, the renowned manufacturer of cookware, provided more evidence of this truth. During lockdown, many people around the world turned to cooking—and demand exploded for the French company’s high-quality products. DACHSER wins the 2019 IMD Global Family Business Award
IMD recognized DACHSER for robust corporate and family governance structures combined with operational excellence and a focus on quality.
IMD Business School, a top-ranked global business school headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, awarded DACHSER with the renowned IMD Global Family Business Award. On behalf of the company and the founding family, Bernhard Simon, CEO of DACHSER, and Birgit Kastner-Simon, Corporate Director Corporate Marketing, accepted the award at the 30th Summit of the Family Business Network International (FBN-I) in Udaipur, India.
For the 2022 financial year, logistics provider DACHSER reports revenue of EUR 8.1 billion (+14.9 percent), marking the second consecutive year of double-digit growth.
Global logistics provider DACHSER grew significantly in 2024, with sales growth of 13 percent lifting revenue above the 8 billion mark to EUR 8.027 billion. The family-owned company also recorded significant year-over-year increases in other key figures such as headcount (+3,300), locations (+56), and pallet spaces in its warehouses (+720,000).
The following applies to complex logistics networks: The more closely the individual hubs are connected, the more robust the networks are and the greater the flexibility they can offer customers in all sectors—even in times of crisis. Certain hubs take on additional, highly functional consolidation tasks—at DACHSER these are known as Eurohubs.
